Welcome to FlowerLife!

Previously known as Flowers by Lesley and before that The Fruitarian in the Idlewells shopping centre, we have been in our current location on Outram Street for over 30 years now. During that time the shop has changed immensely with our current ongoing renovations modernising the shop, however all the same friendly staff you know and love are all still here!

We pride ourselves in offering a friendly, professional service and with over 30 years experience, we love providing beautiful and bespoke flower arrangements. Whatever theme or style you are looking for, we are only a phone call away!

Whether it’s a gift, the final goodbye for a loved one's funeral or celebrating your wedding we are only too happy to help. Our creative and fresh designs use the very best seasonal flowers, providing a national gift delivery service, funeral tributes and bespoke wedding flowers.

Meet the team!

  • Laura B

    Laura B is our new owner but has been working on and off here for over 20 years. A trained Florist, with also teacher training under her belt Laura is also our bespoke funeral tribute specialist!

  • Katie

    Katie has worked here since the age of 16, she started on work experience and never left! Highly college trained and experienced having also worked for other florists Katie is our tied sheaf expert!

  • Laura

    Our other Laura has been at FlowerLife for over 7 years since relocating. Having trained previously in college and through work experience and then undertaking a top up course in wedding designs she is our most recent member of staff.

  • Allison

    Allison is our longest standing member of staff, working here for over 35 years! Allison is also our usual delivery driver and in 1994 won the Chad's customer service award!
